Burt Monroe

Burt has been with the company since 2001 after transferring here from Ohio. While living in Ohio, he worked for an accounting firm preparing financial statements and tax returns. He also spent 6 years in retail management. While working full time, Burt earned an accounting degree at the University of Toledo. He has also completed and passed extensive IRS testing to become an Enrolled Agent. His primary responsibilities at CSI are maintaining relationships with his clients, including overseeing each of his client’s accounting, and preparing their business and individual income tax returns. Burt also works closely with his clients advising them on tax planning issues and general business consulting. Burt is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and is a member of both the National Society for Tax Professionals and the National Society for Accountants.

Fun Fact: Burt played bass guitar and sang backup in a band for 4 years. He was also in theater, choir, and show choir throughout high school.
